With the continuous expansion of educational exchanges between Chinese universities and the countries along the Belt and Road, Beijing Hongzhou Learning Co., Ltd. has increased the cooperation between Chinese universities and overseas universities in the fields of education and culture. Beijing Hongzhou Learning Co., Ltd. has maintained close and in-depth cooperation with Vietnamese universities and related educational institutions. The Danang Chinese Language Center in Vietnam has been looking forward to organizing a student exchange to China. With the support of the Beijing Institute of Economics and Management (BIEM), on July 2nd, 2019, Hongzhou Learning successfully organized the first batch of Vietnamese students to come to Beijing for a two-week period. Here, they will participate in several cultural exchange activities.
On July 2nd, 2019, the Danang Chinese Language Center in Vietnam held an opening ceremony at the Beijing Institute of Economics and Management for its summer camp. Starting that day, the students officially began their short-term study tour at BIEM.
The students participating in the project came from various cities in Vietnam, and the students' Chinese level was very high. Through this two-week cultural experience project, they hope to further improve their Chinese proficiency, understand Chinese traditional customs and culture, understand the teaching methods of Chinese universities, and lay the foundation for studying in China in the future.
The Beijing Institute of Economics and Management attaches great importance to their arrival. President Yang of the Institute of International Education attended the opening ceremony and delivered an imposing speech. The training arranged the school's gold medal Chinese lecturer, Ms. Li, as the class teacher. At the opening ceremony, the students interacted positively with the teacher. It is expected that through these two weeks of study, the Vietnamese students can further improve their Chinese proficiency, enhance their understanding of Chinese culture, and successfully complete the purpose of their trip altogether.
Beijing Institute of Economics and Management is the earliest vocational college to carry out international education. It has trained more than 15,000 international students from over 100 different countries. The quality of Chinese language training is among the highest in Beijing. Schools from the United States, the United Kingdom, Thailand and other foreign institutions are to be cooperated with to carry out a "2+2" or "3+1" program, student exchanges and other types of inter-school cooperation. In cooperation with the British National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center, BIEM plans to build the "Beijing London Business School", aimed at creating a new platform for international exchange of vocational education.
It is hoped that through more short-term projects like this one, more and more outstanding international students choose to come to China to complete their dream of studying abroad.
